Agreement to These Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using any mobile application or related service published by STU Studio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the applications or services.
These terms apply together with any rules, terms, and policies of the platform where you obtained the application, including Apple App Store, Google Play, or any other authorized distribution platform.
Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into these terms in your country or region. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the applications only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for a minor's use of the applications.
License to Use the Applications
STU Studio grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the applications on devices you own or control, solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms, applicable law, and applicable app store rules.
You do not acquire ownership of the applications, software, source code, trademarks, designs, content, or related intellectual property.
App Store and Platform Terms
If you download an application through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform, the platform's terms may also apply to your download, purchases, subscriptions, device usage, family sharing, and account management. If there is a conflict between these terms and mandatory platform terms, the mandatory platform terms control to the extent of that conflict.
Apple, Google, and other platform providers are not responsible for providing maintenance or support for STU Studio applications unless their own terms require otherwise.
Accounts and Security
Some applications may allow or require account creation, sign-in, cloud sync, or profile settings. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, maintaining accurate account information, and all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend access if we believe an account is being misused, compromised, or used in violation of these terms.
User Content
Some applications may allow you to create, upload, save, transmit, or share text, images, files, notes, preferences, comments, or other content. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant STU Studio a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, back up, and use that content only as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the applications.
You are responsible for your content and must have all rights needed to use it in the applications. You must not upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate for the application.
User-Generated Content and Safety
If an application includes public, social, community, messaging, review, or user-generated content features, we may provide moderation, reporting, blocking, filtering, or removal tools where appropriate. We may remove content or restrict access when content violates these terms, applicable law, app store rules, or the safety of other users.
Do not use the applications to threaten, bully, exploit, impersonate, spam, scam, harass, promote illegal activity, distribute malware, or post objectionable or abusive material.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the applications for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, damage, or reverse engineer the applications or related systems.
- Bypass security, access controls, purchase validation, subscription checks, usage limits, or technical restrictions.
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, scrape, harvest, or exploit the applications except as allowed by law.
- Upload viruses, malicious code, automated scripts, bots, or content designed to disrupt the applications.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, age, permissions, or rights.
- Use the applications in a way that violates third-party rights, including privacy, intellectual property, publicity, or contractual rights.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Some applications may offer paid downloads, subscriptions, premium features, consumable items, non-consumable items, trials, or other in-app purchases. The applicable price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation options, and any trial details will be shown in the relevant app store or purchase screen before you confirm a purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your app store account before the renewal deadline set by the platform. Deleting an application does not always cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store, Google Play, or applicable platform account settings.
Refunds and Purchase Support
Purchases made through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform are generally billed and refunded by that platform according to its own policies. STU Studio does not receive full payment card details and may not be able to issue refunds directly for platform-managed purchases.
If a purchase or premium feature does not work as expected, contact us with the app name, device type, purchase date, and any receipt or transaction identifier available from the platform.
Advertising and Third-Party Services
Some applications may include ads, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, cloud storage, notifications, payments, maps, AI services, or other third-party SDKs and services. These third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using features that depend on those services.
Privacy
Your use of the applications is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, shared, retained, and protected. By using the applications, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
The applications, software, interface designs, logos, trademarks, graphics, documentation, text, and other materials are owned by STU Studio or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use STU Studio branding, assets, or content without prior permission except where allowed by law.
Feedback, suggestions, bug reports, and feature requests may be used by STU Studio without restriction, but we will not treat feedback as confidential unless separately agreed in writing.
Updates, Changes, and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove features, applications, services, content, or support availability at any time. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, legal compliance, or continued functionality.
We do not guarantee that every application or feature will always be available, error-free, compatible with every device, or supported indefinitely.
AI, Automation, and Informational Features
Some applications may include informational, automated, recommendation, productivity, educational, wellness, or AI-assisted features. Unless an individual app clearly states otherwise, outputs are for general informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional, medical, legal, safety, or emergency advice.
You are responsible for reviewing outputs, decisions, reminders, calculations, and generated content before relying on them.
Health, Wellness, and Sensitive Use Cases
If an application includes health, wellness, habit, productivity, weather, learning, or similar features, those features are intended to support personal organization and general information. They are not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, legal counsel, or other regulated services.
Do not use the applications in situations where failure, delay, inaccurate information, or unavailable service could lead to death, personal injury, property damage, or legal harm.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the applications and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. STU Studio disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and uninterrupted operation.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STU Studio and its owners, contributors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, goodwill, device functionality, business opportunity, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the applications.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless STU Studio from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the applications, your content, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your violation of third-party rights.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the applications at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to any application or service if you violate these terms, create risk for STU Studio or other users, misuse the applications, fail to satisfy required purchase or subscription conditions, or if continued access would violate law, platform rules, or third-party rights.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, purchase obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions.
Export, Sanctions, and Legal Compliance
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the applications, including export control, sanctions, consumer protection, privacy, intellectual property, and local content laws. You may not use the applications if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.
Governing Law and Disputes
Unless mandatory law in your country or region requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws applicable to STU Studio, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the issue informally.
Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date or last updated date on this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the relevant application, app store listing, or another reasonable channel.
Your continued use of the applications after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
